Youth Ministries

"Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity show yourself an example of those who believe..." (1 Tim 4.12)

Our aim in youth ministry here at CFCF is "to make disciples of Jesus Christ, who make disciples, who make disciples."  We want all of our students to be Great-Commission, Great-Commandment Christians...

The Great Commission:

"And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matt 28.18-20)

As a youth group, our goal is to do our part in completing the Great Commission--both in our community and around the world.  We are committed to reaching out and ministering to students locally through peer-to-peer evangelism, ministry teams, and outreach events.

We are also seek take the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world with missions trips to places such as Philadelphia, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.  Our desire is that our students will be able to use their gifts and abilities to honor God, in whatever they do and wherever He may lead them.

The Great Commandment:

"'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.'  This is the great and foremost commandment.  The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'  On these two commandments depend the whole Law and Prophets." (Matt 22.37-40)

Our  passion is to help connect students with God and with one another.  We challenge them to follow Jesus in their everyday, "walking-around" lives.  We want them to experience the God of the universe in a healthy, loving community with others.  Throughout the week, we offer a number of services and small groups where students of different ages and backgrounds can grow spiritually as they hear powerful, relevant teaching and worship God together through music, prayer, and serving others.
