Statement of Purpose

Reach ~ Connect ~ Grow ~ Serve ~ Honor

So, what are we all about?  While we believe that God has called every believer in every church to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt 28.19-20) and the Great Commandments (Matt 22.37-39), CFCF has adopted the following purpose statement to reflect the specific mission we believe we have been called to live out here in Canal Fulton:

"CFCF exists to reach people for Christ, to connect them with the community of Christ, to help them grow to be more like Christ, to equip them to serve Christ, and to lead them to honor Christ with their whole lives."

This statement reflects our desire to...

• Reach out to people with the love and good news of Jesus--both in our community and around the world

• Provide opportunities for fellowship where people can get connected with others with whom they can "do life together" in genuine community

• Disciple people to help them to learn more about God and His Word and to grow to be more like Jesus in their everyday lives

• Provide training and ministry opportunities for people to use their gifts and resources to serve God and others

• Inspire people to worship God with all that they have, honoring Him in every area of their lives
